Pre & Post-Import Financing
Pre-shipment finance is working-capital finance that is provided by National Bank to an exporter, with-recourse basis against either a confirmed export order from an end buyer or against a Letter of Credit. As the exporter, you may require working capital finance to purchase goods (if you are the middle man), purchase raw materials for subsequent manufacturing of final goods, warehousing, or to arrange for the transportation of goods
Post Shipment Finance is a kind of loan provided by National Bank to an exporter or seller against a shipment that has already been made. This type of export finance is granted from the date of extending the credit after shipment of the goods to the realization date of the exporter proceeds. Exporters don’t wait for the importer to deposit the funds.
Post-shipment finances is provided against evidence of shipment of goods or supplies made to the importer or seller or any other designated agency.
